Refund Policy

Golden Hour Collective – Virtual Assistance & Photography

Effective Date: May 22, 2026

Golden Hour Collective is committed to providing professional, high-quality virtual assistance, photography, creative, and digital services. Due to the time, preparation, customization, and creative labor involved in all services, the following Refund Policy applies to all bookings and projects.

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

All deposits, retainers, booking fees, and upfront payments made to Golden Hour Collective are strictly non-refundable.

Deposits are required to:

  • Reserve appointment dates and project timelines

  • Secure photography sessions or event coverage

  • Allocate creative and administrative time

  • Begin planning, preparation, and scheduling

By submitting a deposit or payment, the client acknowledges and agrees that these funds compensate for reserved time and business availability.

2. No Refund Policy

Golden Hour Collective does not offer refunds on:

  • Completed services

  • Digital products or deliverables

  • Photography sessions

  • Creative work

  • Social media management

  • Administrative or virtual assistant services

  • Branding or marketing materials

  • Partially completed projects

  • Missed appointments or unused retainer hours

Once work has begun, all payments made are final.

3. Revisions & Remakes

Client satisfaction is important, and reasonable revisions or remakes may be offered at the discretion of Golden Hour Collective.

Revision requests must:

  • Be submitted within a reasonable timeframe after delivery

  • Clearly outline requested adjustments

  • Remain within the original project scope

Reasonable revisions may include:

  • Minor edits to graphics or content

  • Small photography adjustments

  • Formatting changes

  • Corrections to agreed deliverables

Extensive redesigns, complete creative direction changes, additional edits beyond the original agreement, or repeated revision requests may result in additional fees.

Golden Hour Collective reserves the right to determine what qualifies as a reasonable revision or remake.

4. Photography Sessions

Photography services are artistic and subjective in nature. By booking a session, clients acknowledge that:

  • Editing style and artistic direction are consistent with the Golden Hour Collective portfolio

  • No refunds will be issued based on personal preference, styling choices, weather conditions, pose preferences, or subjective artistic interpretation

Reasonable image corrections may be discussed where appropriate.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule services with reasonable notice.

Rescheduling requests are subject to:

  • Availability

  • Scheduling limitations

  • Approval by Golden Hour Collective

Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute cancellations may result in forfeiture of payments and deposits.

6. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project information

  • Reviewing proofs and deliverables

  • Communicating requests clearly

  • Responding within reasonable timelines

Delays caused by lack of communication or incomplete information do not qualify for refunds.

7. Acceptance of Policy

By booking services, paying invoices, signing agreements, or continuing work with Golden Hour Collective, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.
